And on June 9 the Queen Mother attained the great age of 85 years and 304 days, and became the oldest lady to have been the Queen Consort, and indeed she is already older than our oldest sovereign (Queen Vic) by 4 years. The Queen Mother has now surpassed Queen Mary in age.
